Mindfulness

An 8-module journey into present-moment awareness.

Welcome

Welcome to your Deep Dive

You’re about to begin a journey that will transform your relationship with your own mind.

This isn’t about emptying your thoughts or achieving some blissful state. It’s about learning to be present — to notice the voice in your head without being controlled by it.

By the end, you’ll have practical tools for finding calm in chaos, meeting difficult emotions with grace, and living with greater awareness in every moment.

What is a Deep Dive?

Three books, distilled

A Deep Dive is a focused 8-module course built around three carefully chosen books on a single topic. Instead of skimming the surface, we go deep — synthesizing the best insights from master teachers and translating them into tools you can use right away.

Do you need to read the books? No. We always encourage reading the originals if you’re inspired to — but this course delivers a complete, transformative experience whether you’ve read them or not.

Your guides

“The Miracle of Mindfulness”
by Thich Nhat Hanh

The classic introduction from the beloved Zen master — simple, poetic, and deeply practical. Mindfulness as a way of life, found in washing dishes, drinking tea, every ordinary moment.

“Mindfulness in Plain English”
by Bhante Gunaratana

The no-nonsense meditation manual, rooted in the Vipassana tradition. Exactly how to sit, what to do with your mind, and how to work with the obstacles that arise.

“The Untethered Soul”
by Michael A. Singer

A philosophical exploration of consciousness and inner freedom — understanding the voice in your head, releasing stored pain, and finding the witness behind your thoughts.

How to get the most from this

Five gentle guidelines

1 · Practice, don’t just read

Mindfulness is experiential. Five minutes of actual practice teaches more than hours of reading about it.

2 · Start small

Begin with just 5 minutes daily. Consistency matters more than duration.

3 · Expect resistance

Your mind will wander. You’ll feel restless. That isn’t failure — it’s the practice itself.

4 · Take it off the cushion

Real mindfulness happens in daily life — washing dishes, walking, waiting in line.

5 · Be patient with yourself

It’s called “practice” for a reason. There’s no perfect state to achieve — just an ongoing relationship with the present moment.

Feelings come and go like clouds in a windy sky. Conscious breathing is my anchor.

— Thich Nhat Hanh
